Mr Sathyan Thambirajah was recommended by a friend who has been a patient at the practice for many years. At the time, I was looking for a dentist who was knowledgeable regarding dental implant work. Also, having read his practice website, I decided to contact him.
As implant work appeared to be a relatively recent procedure of which I had little information (other than the implant being connected to the jawbone and the finished result appearing to look and feel as one's own natural teeth), Mr. Thambirajah discussed what could be done and explained the procedure which was very helpful. One thing which concerned me was whether there may be any likelihood of adverse effects of the implant being in the bone but Mr. Thambirajah's patient, informative manner throughout was reassuring. The procedure was done under strict clinical conditions.
I am very grateful to Mr. Thambirajah for his skillful implant work which has improved my 'smile' and is so comfortable that I am unaware of it as it feels like my own teeth. I would happily recommend him.
I contacted Mr Thambirajah early 2013 for an initial consultation, the problem being my very worn front and lower teeth. We discussed the available treatment and he explained the corrective options and expected time period. My only concern was that the treatment would prevent any loss of teeth.
As agreed he then stabilised the condition of my teeth and a treatment plan was discussed. Over the next six months various work was carried out. At each stage he explained what he had done and was grateful to receive input from myself. The work involved initial casts, temporary inserts, then later, crowns and permanent inserts to correct the problem.
During my many visits he explained clearly what was happening and what work was yet to be done. At a later stage I requested that the lower premolars be rebuilt, purely for cosmetic reasons and he obliged by using fillings and not crowns as he deemed this expensive and unnecessary.
Overall through his dedicated effort and professional code, he accomplished what we both had discussed. His friendly yet professional manner had kept me at ease during a long period of treatments which would otherwise have been quite daunting. I will recommend him to anyone requiring any dental work as he has demonstrated great skills and is a credit to his profession.
During discussing with Mr Thambirajah regarding my crowned teeth it was suggested work could be carried out to improve the alignment of my front teeth in general.
Following the advice of a dental technician recommended by the Practice work was subsequently carried out on two crowns and two veneers.
I am extremely pleased with the results and very grateful to the Practice for their advice and expertise.
The 57fg Dental Practice, headed by Principal Dentist Mr Thambirajah, has been looking after my dental needs for many years, in fact, since he first took over the practice. He, his staff, administrators, nurses, and other support sources appear to me to be second to none. They carry out their task in a very friendly but professional way.
The practice premises, the operational facilities are extremely welcoming, business-like and presentable; you notice the quality straight away.
Back in, August 2015, I had a requirement to replace a tooth with an implant, this has just successfully been completed to my satisfaction. And whilst the process took longer than expected, the attention to detail, care and consideration during the process was something that stood out beyond all expectations. There was a delay in the process; however, I believe the delay was for all the right reasons, and worth taking the time. The result proves the point.
